Janet Salas

Janet Salas is a proud local product and brings a deep understanding of the Santa Barbara softball community to her role as Director of Softball.

Janet played her high school softball at Dos Pueblos High School, where she developed a strong foundation in the game before continuing her career at Santa Barbara City College. As a freshman at SBCC, she earned All-Western State Conference Honorable Mention, recognizing her impact at the collegiate level.

Following her playing career, Janet transitioned into coaching and served as an assistant coach at Santa Barbara City College, where she worked closely with student-athletes on skill development, game preparation, and competitive mindset.

As Director of Softball, Janet is passionate about teaching fundamentals, fostering confidence, and creating a positive environment where young athletes can grow both on and off the field. Her local roots, playing experience, and collegiate coaching background allow her to connect with players and families while preparing athletes for the next level of competition.
